This model again. I picked up this beauty in July of 2018 after years of pining for a long lost The Paul I let go back in the 80s. Of all the guitars I’ve ever owned I only regret letting go of two. My Harmony H62 and my first The Paul. For anyone considering revisiting a guitar that you let go as a youth I can enthusiastically recommend seeking out another. Before getting this again I wondered if the wanting and the search was going to be the the biggest thrill. I thought maybe if I got another I would feel a little empty after the initial honeymoon. Well it’s been more that 2 years and I am still stoked to have this back after 30 some years. I say go for it!
I’m not going to blather on anymore here about this guitar or my original. You can read about both here more in depth where I wrote about them in 2018. I will leave you with a pic of me and my second TP (photo by Cat Rose). Reunited and it feels so good!
